An AS/RS is an automated warehouse system built around racking, stacker cranes, conveyors and pallet handling equipment. Pallets go in and come out in fixed, precise positions, with very little manual involvement.
The system is run through your warehouse management system (WMS), a computer network or logistics software, so every pallet location is tracked in real time.
Built from heavy-duty steel, cantilever storage systems offer high load capacity, structural stability, and excellent space optimisation — a reliable choice for timber yards, steel merchants, building suppliers, plumbing wholesalers, and manufacturing operations.
AS/RS stores far more per square metre than traditional racking. That lifts throughput, cuts reliance on labour and lowers running costs, while keeping people out of the busiest parts of the floor.
